DESCRIPTION:Hi All\, Bit of a Novel to read but…… \nplease read regarding the 50th celebration weekend 17th\,18th\,19th November \nFriday 17th – We are now having a casual nog and natter at the club-rooms on the Friday night for those who are keen\, great time to catch-up with some old mates and share some bullshit stories\, doors open at 7 and the bar will open for business\, some light supper will be provided. \n\nSaturday 18th – Night only at RSA Napier\, members to be there at 6pm please\, open at 6.30 for Past guests\, . As you come in the door we will have a reception table set up where you will officially enter and be marked off the list\, its important you have let us know your coming. \nYou will receive a wristband pass for the weekend\, then past and present members only will sign a Model T Grille Surround that Paul has organised for a nostalgia keepsake for the club-rooms and Past and Present members only will receive a small plaque as attendance of the weekend.\nGuests of the past members are okay to attend the social but have to pay $25/head to cover costs of the meal and band etc.\nAn official cake will be cut on the night and the evening will be filled with various speakers approx. of 5 min each along with 2 different bands to boogie to. Remember 60’s -70’s Dress code is encouraged but not mandatory\, go on… have a little fun with it! \nSunday 19th – We will be having a Rod Run which will leave the club-rooms at 10.30\, the Club-rooms doors will be open from 10.00am. There will be 2 stops included as well as driving past our historic Marineland Sites. Approx 2 hrs rod run.\nBack to club-rooms for lunch provided by Smokehouse BBQ from Waipukurau. \nOnce again other guests apart from the past and present members may attend but will also incur a $25/head coverage.\nOur own annual Club prize giving will be then held after lunch. We are at this stage catering for 100 people but as time goes on please liaise with Paul so he can let BBQ man know if more food is needed. \nIMPORTANT – we ask that all extras paying the $25 fee must be prepaid and anyone attending should be wearing the weekend wristband from the RSA. If you are only doing parts of the weekend let me know!! \n*This will be a Fantastic weekend with some Past Founding Members coming from Overseas and around the country…lets make them Welcome! \nCheers \nAnd see you all there \nPhil \n021320430 \n\n
